Turd Blossom

Joseph Cannon writes:
It's impossible to follow -- or even to summarize -- all of the theories and informed speculations regarding Karl Rove, Plame-gate, and the apparent get-out-of-jail-free card handed to Bob Novak. Those following the controversy should take a look at [this].
And this and this and this. Go have fun.

Here's a scary quote from Judith Miller:
I won't testify. The risks are too great. The government is too powerful.

She should know.

I think this government is setting a new record for scandals. May have already set it in just a 5-year span.

And the Democrats themselves are setting a record of their own ... the longest period of time of just sitting on their hands. Guess it's hard to stand up when you have no spine.

Well, you know, it's up to us to DO something about it rather than waiting for our party to do something. Blogging is a start, but don't forget writing letters to editors, to Congressmen, to the DNC, etc. We must not sit back and watch democracy pass us by.
